Potential new homeowner applicants MUST attend a Homeowners Orientation Class in order to receive an application for the Valdosta-Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program for 2026. Attending this class does not guarantee your application will be approved for homeownership.

Habitat homes are NOT free, they are earned through partnering with Valdosta-Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity.

Partner Families in our Homeownership Program must:

*Complete the amount of sweat equity hours required.

*Demonstrate financial means to pay home loan and escrow payments on a regular basis.
*Attend Financial Literacy Classes provided by our organization.

*Review all Basic Eligibility Requirements located on the Homeownership Program page of our website.

*Must show current photo identification at orientation check-in.

*Only registered persons will be admitted into orientation class; class size is limited.

*No paperwork required to bring to orientation class.

*Bring all questions to the orientation class. Questions will not be answered by phone.

*Applicants must reside in Lowndes County, GA.

Once your Orientation Registration is complete and submitted, you will receive a message that the registration has been received.

This registration page is ONLY for the Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at 10:00am-11:00am orientation class. If you are unable to attend this class date/time, register for one of the other class dates/times.

Our office will contact you with confirmation or denial information for the orientation class after your registration has been processed.

Attending only one orientation class is required to receive an application for the Valdosta-Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program for 2026.
